Delivery Driver/yard person

Permanent Full-Time, including rostered Saturdays.
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking person with an ongoing nature and eye for detail to join our frontline team at Waimate Timber & Hardware. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm and rostered every second Saturday.
About you
Motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Hold a current clean Class 1 drivers’ licence (forklift experience an advantage)
Be able to communicate & interact well with people
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Physically fit - includes some heavy lifting
Computer literate with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
About the role
Responsible for accurately picking orders and deliveries
Assisting customers with loading their vehicles
Gain a knowledge of building products
Keep the yard clean and organised
Maintain clean and tidy vehicles
Provide customer service in a helpful and friendly manner
