Waihao Forks Hotel 2022 Ltd

The Waihao Forks Hotel is on the hunt for a new chef/cook.

The position will be approximately 30 hours a week, which includes Wednesday and Thursday late afternoons & evenings, Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes & evenings.

About “The Forks”

The Waihao Forks Hotel is a country pub 10 minutes from Waimate on State Highway 82, best known for being home to the historical ANZAC artifact Ted's Bottle. We offer stopover camping facilities and see plenty of traffic on their way to and from the lakes, and further afield and we are a major point along the in-progress Waimate Trail.

Experience and Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A passion for great food

• Plenty of enthusiasm and creative flare

• You need to be quality focused and able to work under pressure

• Have skills in menu development and cost management

• Have a sense of humor, great time management and take pride in your appearance.

A driver's license is required. Applicants with NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residence may only apply.
