Quarry Machine Operator

Transport (Waimate) Limited is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic plant and machinery operator to join our team.

About the Role

The job is full-time, 5 days a week, Monday - Friday

You will be operating screening plants, crushing plants, front-end loaders, excavators, trucks and bulldozers. Tasks will include the extraction and processing of raw materials, loading trucks, basic road maintenance and general laboring.

What we are looking for:

• W/T/R endorsements.

• Experience operating heavy machinery.

• Experience working with aggregates.

• NZ permanent resident or citizen.

• Own transportation.

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Health and safety conscious.

• Can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

• Experience with crushing and screening plants advantageous but not required.

• Class 5 license is advantageous but not required.

Adherence to rigorous health and safety protocols, along with compliance with local authority regulations will be paramount.
