Studholme Partnership is now seeking an enthusiastic Dry-Stock farm manger for a 280ha intensive dairy support and beef finishing block, approximately 50% irrigated 50% dryland. Located near Waimate, which is centrally located in the South Island. The property runs a mix of dairy heifers, winter cows and beef finishing animals. There is also an opportunity to work in with our sheep and beef operation nearby. In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the farm. To be successful the candidate would need to have the following skills/qualities:
Be passionate and enthusiastic about farming
Have good pasture management skills
Good stockmanship
Have some experience with machinery
Ability to work independently and in a team
