St Patrick’s School Office Administrator

St Patrick’s School is seeking to appoint an Office Administrator to provide front of house and administrative support to our Year 1 - 8 Catholic primary school.

We are seeking a person who will contribute to our community based school and help all children achieve to the best of their ability.

As School Office Administrator you will report directly to the Principal and provide a personal assistant/ secretarial service as required. Working 15 hours per week from 8.30-11.30 Monday to Friday across 40 weeks per year, this position involves all facets of school office administration.

To efficiently perform a variety of duties required you will require the following skills and attributes:

• Provide a warm and approachable welcome and interactions for students, parents and staff

• Experience in a multi-faceted reception/administrative position

• Experience using Xero, databases and student management systems

• High degree of integrity and confidentiality in liaising with the community and school

• Able to display self-awareness and sensitivity in a culturally diverse setting

• Financial administration such as invoicing, recording and reconciliation of accounts, and month end reporting

• Assisting with Facebook page and website

• Experience with Google Docs

• School administrative needs such as student records, rolls and enrolment procedures
