Seasonal Labouring

Springlands Farms Limited, RD 8, Makikihi

Springlands Farms is a large scale cropping farm located 30 minutes from Timaru and 10 minutes from Waimate. We are a family run property with a small enthusiastic team looking for seasonal labour for the upcoming harvest.

We are looking for:

• Self-motivated, ability to problem solve and focus on the task at hand

• Honest and reliable with good time management

• Experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right person

• Be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions

• Committed to working safely and efficiently, understanding of health and safety expectations

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions

• Be flexible with work hours due to sessional requirements

• Open to learning new skills and implying them

• Be able to work as part of a team and work independently.

An enthusiasm to work on our progressive family arable farm for Harvest. This would suit anyone with a full car licence who is keen to work with machinery or someone with experience. Training for the roll will be provided.

Work available from 12th January 2026 until April 2026.

This job would involve general farm duties, tractor work and harvest work. NZ drivers licence and NZ work visa essential.
