Registered Practice Nurse required at Oak House Medical Centre, Waimate.
We’re looking for someone to join our friendly team. Oak House is situated in the middle of the South Island with many outdoor attractions only a short drive away. We are a privately owned practice which enjoys the challenges and triumphs of offering health care in a rural setting. The practice currently has two GPs, four RNs, one Health Improvement Practitioner, and one Health Coach. We also have a visiting Podiatrist.
The position is for 3-4 days per week. The applicant should be adept in all tasks required for primary care nursing such as blood taking, wound care, diabetes management, heart checks and urgent triage. Immunisation certificate and PRIME training required but not essential to start. An interest or qualification in cervical smear taking preferred.
