Workshop Manager

Murphy Farms Ltd is looking for a workshop manager to maintain equipment and machinery for several dairy farms and support blocks, the workshop is based in Glenavy, and you would need to have the ability to travel to the farm.

The role includes but not limited to:

• Machinery and equipment repairs

• Repairs and maintenance of some farm buildings as required

• Maintain pumps, compressors, mowers etc

• Keep track of vehicles, trailers, motorbikes and ensure WOF and services have been carried out

The successful applicant must have:

• Knowledge of a wide range of Tractors, machinery and equipment

• Ability to carry out repairs

• Ability to work independently is a must

• Be able to problem solve

• Interact well with coworkers and the ability to direct staff as required

• Full New Zealand Licence – HT an advantage

• Must be a New Zealand Resident.

Job type: Full time

Duration: Permanent

Approximate pay: $30 per hour
