If you are accepted as a Masterlink apprentice, we’ll place you with an experienced host business committed to seeing you become an excellent tradesperson. On successful completion of your apprenticeship (which can take up to 5 years), you will gain a National Certificate in Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying.

As a Masterlink apprentice, you will be:

  • set up with basic safety gear and a starter tool kit

  • given an annual allowance for overalls and boots

  • earning a steady wage while getting onsite training

  • paid when you go on a series of 1-week block courses during your apprenticeship

  • provided with a Masterlink mentor to support you throughout your studies – keeping you on track to qualify
