Customer Service/Yard Person

Waimate ITM is a locally owned and operated business that provides unparalleled quality and service to all our customers. We supply building materials and hardware to trade and DIY customers. We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service/Yard Person to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, you will play a key role in upholding our brand image and ensuring customers have an exceptional experience every time. Are you passionate about providing outstanding customer service and looking for a hands-on role in the building supplies industry? Have excellent communication skills. Physically Fit and be able to work independently as well as within a team environment. A knowledge of building materials would be an advantage; however training / support is provided.
You will be working alongside a great team of people in a company renowned for exceptional service. Training and support will be provided.
Tasks include, but not limited to:
Excellent customer service
Stock shelves and load timber/building materials into racks
Forklift & Class 2 licenses an advantage or be willing and capable to obtain these
Deliveries
Prepare Customer Orders
Process cash and invoice sales efficiently
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace

Hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm, and rostered Saturday’s 8.30am - 12pm.
