Part-Time Retail Customer Service
Location: Waimate ITM
Role Type: Part-Time (Minimum 20 hours per week)
Department: Retail Showroom – Hardware, Garden Goods & Paint
About the Role
Waimate ITM is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused member to join our retail showroom team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping customers, has a friendly attitude, and is keen to learn about a wide range of hardware, garden, and paint products.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing outstanding customer service
Assisting customers with product
Operating the POS system and handling transactions
Restocking shelves and maintaining tidy, well-presented displays
Supporting the wider ITM team as required
What We’re Looking For
A friendly, helpful personality with strong communication skills
Retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Some product knowledge in hardware, garden goods or paint is a bonus
