We’re looking for an enthusiastic Dispatcher to join our team at our Oceania Dairy site in Glenavy, North Otago. This role involves leading a successful team, whilst dispatching trucks and ensuring a smooth milk collection process. This role will see the successful candidate working in a highly compliant environment and ensuring processes and procedures are continuously being followed.

Our ideal applicant will be an existing dispatcher/scheduler looking for a change of scenery, however we will seriously consider an experienced driver ready to step from the cab into the office.

To be successful for this role, we’re looking for someone who aligns to our core values (People, Safety, Customer & Future) and enjoys working with a diverse range of team members.

The desirable candidate will;

• Have previous experience in a Dispatch and/or Scheduling know how

• Be a strong leader with the ability to converse effectively within the team.

• Be an effective communicator (with both internal and external stakeholders e.g. customers, farmers, drivers).

• Be comfortable working in a compliant environment and be able to ensure procedures are being followed.

• Be computer literate, manage technology, and efficiently enter data.

• Be able to think on their feet, suggest solutions to challenges, and effectively distribute company-wide and divisional messages.

• Be Health and safety focused – with the ability to role-model safe working practices and lead effective toolbox meetings.
