Farm Manager Mixed Arable

The farm comprises of 320ha of mixed cropping of wheat barley maize and small seeds under pivot irrigation plus fattening lambs and wintering dairy cows and breeding ewes from additional hill farm.

Farm manager must be responsible for the day to day running of this operation key requirements are:

• Hardworking

• Honest and Reliable

• Good understanding of irrigation management

• Plant and soil management

• Competent with machinery maintenance and repairs

• Competent with cattle and sheep

• Have good staff management

• Prepared to work long hours when necessary

• Good communication skills

• Class 5 license

• NZ residency
