Dairy Assistant/General Farm Hand – Amuriwai Ltd

Amuriwai Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated dairy farm hand to join their team. The position is on either a casual part-time basis or if the applicant is suitable, potentially a permanent full-time role.

The position will involve milking cows and general day to day farm work moving stock, putting up fences, etc.

 About you:

• Ideally prior dairy farm experience is preferred but not essential

• Must not be afraid of early starts and getting dirty

• Must be honest and reliable, available when required

• Because of the hours involved, you must hold a current full driver’s licence

• Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand

 About us:

• Currently milking 600 cows, twice a day

• 54 bale rotary, with automatic cup removal and teat spray

• Please note that there is no current on-farm accommodation available and Amuriwai is 22kms travelling distance from Waimate.
